COUNTY
-Eastland County Water Supply Dist., 3rd Thurs., 6 PM
-Eastland County Commissioners Court meets in regular session on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Court Room of the County Courthouse.
-The Eastland County Historical Commission holds a meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:30 p.m. at locations throughout the county. Meetings are usually not held in November or December. The meetings alternate between a full meeting one month and an executive committee meeting the next.
- VFW Post 4136 Eastland holds a meeting on the 2nd Wednesday each month at 7:30 p.m. Ladies Auxiliary Post 4136 also holds a meeting on the same date, time, and place.
- PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Ranger Recreation Building (“Old Gym”), corner of Marston St. and Pine in downtown Ranger. The meetings begin at 10:00 a.m.
- Artists of Eastland County meet 3rd Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m.; Every Monday Paint along 1:00-4:00 at Eastland Senior Citizens Center; 1st, 2nd, 4th Thursday Night Painting 6:00-9:00 at Eastland Senior Citizens Center.

RANGER
- Ranger Historical Preservation Society meets on the 3rd Monday of the month, 6:00 P.M., at the Ruth Terry Denney Library- Research Center, 1505 Loop 254 West, in Ranger. For more information call 254-647-3340.
-Ranger Governing Body meets in a regular meeting on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall, 400 W. Main.
- Ranger Kiwanis Club meets Wednesday, 12 Noon, Community Center on Pine St.
-Ranger Lions Club meets each Thursday noon at the Ranger Community Center on Pine.
-The Quarter Store in Ranger offers used clothing, shoes, and many other items for $.25 per piece. The store is open Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and on the 1st Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Proceeds benefit the Ranger Ministries United’s “Meals on Wheels” program.
